BLIND WEDDING 💍🇷🇸 💐 Skip the dating, go straight to the Serbian wedding. 💐 ⚠️DISCLAIMER: No previous wedding experience required. No relationship status required either. 😉 Ever wondered what actually happens at a Serbian wedding? Why does everyone seem to know the lyrics to every song? Why is there a whole ceremony around taking the bride? Why does everyone have a role? Who is stealing the bride? What exactly are you supposed to do with a towel, an apple, or a piece of bread? And most importantly, why is there always rakija? Well… there’s only one way to find out. This November, AEGEE-Beograd invites you to BLIND WEDDING, a cultural event where you’ll get to experience Serbian wedding traditions, explore Belgrade, and probably learn a few things you never thought you needed to know about Balkan weddings. 🇷🇸 💍 But what exactly is a Blind Wedding? You’ll get a crash course in the traditions, rituals and little details that make a Serbian wedding a Serbian wedding. From the ceremony itself to the stories behind the customs, we’ll take you through the whole journey and yes, there might be some surprises along the way. But the wedding is only part of the story. 🏛️ Explore Belgrade From the St. Sava temple, historic streets of Zemun and Gardoš to Kalemegdan and the city centre, you’ll get to see some of the places that make Belgrade what it is. 🎬 Experience the wedding We’re bringing the Serbian wedding experience to life with a ceremony, wedding-themed activities, games and plenty of opportunities to find out why Serbian weddings are… an experience. 🍷 Taste the culture Because no Serbian cultural experience would be complete without food, drinks and the occasional rakija. 🔮 A few surprises along the way You’ll never be completely sure what’s coming next. 🌍 And of course European Night! Safe Person Training Tartu

Dear AEGEEans, The Safe Person Committee, Training Committee and AEGEE-Tartu are inviting you to apply to the Safe Person Training event and become a Safe Person 🛡️. The Safe Person Committee is a body within AEGEE that aims to make AEGEE a Safe Space 🧡 and tackle any and all forms of Sexual Harassment 🚫. The Committee ensures we have trained members who can prevent, detect, and react to cases of sexual harassment ⚠️. In order to fulfil its aim, SPC organises training for AEGEE members to develop Safe Persons 👥. The training aims to broaden the knowledge of its participants on the topic of Sexual Harassment 🧠 and equip them with techniques and methods to tackle harassment 🛠️. More precisely, it prepares the Safe Persons to be able to prevent, detect, and react to cases of Sexual Harassment during AEGEE events and act as a multiplier 🎯. The training lasts for 4 days excluding arrival and departure day 📅. The first day is reserved for broadening knowledge about the topic and exchanging experiences among participants 💬. The following days aim to develop the skills needed to detect, prevent, and respond to sexual harassment 🧩. 📢 In addition to the training sessions, there will be a Social Programme 🎉! During this time, we will explore the beautiful city of Tartu 🏰, and other mystery activities designed to help participants connect and relax. Participation in the Social Programme is optional 😊. 🏠 Accommodation Information: Participants will be staying in a gym (we can provide you mattress, just let organizers know beforehand). The training is open to all AEGEE members 🌍, and no previous knowledge is required 📘. However, it is expected that participants are interested in the topic and are willing to dedicate themselves to working as Safe Persons throughout their AEGEE career 🤝. The training will take place in Tartu between the 18th and 23rd of November, with the 18th and the 23rd being the arrival and departure dates ✈️🧳. RTC Krakow Policy, Advocacy and Campaigning, in collaboration with AEGEE Academy, invites you to navigate the policy universe! 🚀 Not familiar with RTCs? Regional Training Courses are learning events designed to help you develop practical skills and knowledge in a specific field, giving you the tools to take the next step in your personal career and AEGEE journey 🤓 If you are interested in working with NGOs, exploring how meaningful change is created, or learning more about public policy and advocacy, this RTC is for you! During the training, you’ll get hands-on experience with the key steps of effective advocacy. We will teach you how to: 📣 Investigate and conceptualise a problem, then develop a solution 🧪 Test your hypothesis through careful research and experimentation 📄 Write a policy paper to present your findings 📚 Build and run a campaign to reach the right people Both trainers have experience working in NGOs and the public policy sectors, giving you the opportunity to learn from their first-hand insights. Jake is pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Governance, while Bente works at the Council of Europe. And, of course, what would an AEGEE event be without a social programme? Get ready for a European Night 🌍, a Polish Culture Evening with a cooking workshop 🇵🇱 🥟, and a lively Karaoke & Games Night 🎤

Dear AEGEEans, Do you have something to share with others but don’t know how? Have you heard of Non-formal Education and are interested in that? If so, we want you at AEGEE Training New Trainers (TNT) Istanbul 2026! We will teach you how to be a trainer at a week-long “training-new-trainers”-experience to get you started on your journey as a trainer? Not convinced yet? Lemme tell you something…. 5 reasons for attending -This TNT is designed to help you build your trainers toolkit learning skills that extend from public speaking to facilitation to developing fun activities for your workshops. -You will enter a community of fellow trainers ready to shape the training culture in AEGEE, and in the future, deliver non-formal workshops and training sessions with you. -TNT provides a safe yet challenging atmosphere for self-development. -A motivated team of trainers from AEGEE is ready to support you. -This training event is the perfect opportunity to develop your professional or academic skills. It will be an intense week but you’ll have the chance to be transformed with our experience training team with our head trainer having provided training for ten years! What does the event look like? We get you started in the morning with a few icebreakers and games to get you ready for eight hours of training throughout the day with some breaks in between to refresh yourself. These sessions will teach you how to speak in front of people, discover how to build a workshop from scratch, and understand how to tailor your workshops to each audience. What happens after? You’ll join the Pool of Trainers where we help you to develop your skills further and provide you with opportunities to travel around Europe to deliver training often for free or at low cost. Join us for From Fear to Future, a Study Session helping young people and youth organisations thrive in today's polarised Europe! 🌱 What is a Study Session? A study session is an international youth seminar which brings together members of youth organisations or networks and experts for discussions on a specific subject leading to conclusions relevant to the priorities and programmes of the Council of Europe Youth sector. Over the session, we'll explore communications, advocacy, and movement building, giving you practical tools to unpick and redesign narratives, engage in political processes and connect with others fighting for a just, sustainable future. Through non-formal education and peer-to-peer learning, you'll shape alternative futures through new climate narrative,, strengthen your organisation's resilience amid polarisation, gain new tools for justice-centred advocacy, and build lasting connections with peers across Generation Climate Europe, AEGEE-Europe, and more! 📍Where? European Youth Centre in Strasbourg 📅 When? 7th to 11th December 2026 (travel dates 6th and 12th December)) 🎁 What's covered?
