The Summer University (SU) is a project of AEGEE. The idea? Let students organize a summer vacation in their city for participants from all over Europe. This means you will get access to places that normally stay hidden for tourists. You spend a few weeks of your summer with a group of 20 to 40 students from all over Europe. This year, there are – as always – many SU’s that you can sign up for!
The themes of the SU’s vary from culture to history, sports and sustainability. Go on a super cheap trip with a diverse group of people from your own age and get to know places through the eyes of a local. During a SU, you spend day and night with each other and you quickly form a strong bond: you eat, drink, sleep and party together. Once you get back to the Netherlands, you gained friends from all over Europe! There is a program with many different aspects, built around a theme, through which you get to know the city and each other in a short period of time.

To go on a Summer University, you have to be a member of AEGEE. You can become a member of AEGEE-Utrecht by signing up with this form. A membership of AEGEE-Utrecht only costs 60 euros a year, and after February, it costs only 30 euros!
