AEGEE-Utrecht is THE European student organization in Utrecht. With about 250 members, AEGEE-Utrecht organizes many activities every year. These are activities that are aimed at good vibes, traveling and self-development, such as international congresses, hitchhiking competitions and weekly drinks.
AEGEE-Utrecht is part of the AEGEE-Europe network, the biggest interdisciplinary student organization of Europe. AEGEE-Europe represents 13000 students, active in over 200 European student cities, in 40 countries in Europe that show a big cultural variety. AEGEE is a non-profit organization that is not connected to a political party. All of the projects and activities are based on the voluntary effort of its members.
AEGEE is an organization that aims to strongly contribute to relevant themes in society. This means that the organization aims to promote a Europe without any prejudice, creating an open and tolerant society, supporting democracy and human rights, cross-border collaboration and a European dimension in education. The members of AEGEE-Utrecht are involved with European themes that affect society and are motivated to put these on the map and to discuss them.
To contribute to the realization of all activities that are organized by AEGEE-Utrecht, you can become a Friend of AEGEE. As a Friend of AEGEE, you connect yourself to the organization by allowing AEGEE to annually withdraw a certain amount of money (of at least 10 euros) from your bank account. Beside contributing to the improvement of our activities, as a Friend of AEGEE, you are entitled to the following:
Twice a year, you get a digital newsletter in which you are updated about the development of the organization.
Participation in, to external parties accessible, AEGEE-Utrecht activities.
